That's how Huggable Urns was born. Leave it to my Dad to start a business from the other side, to keep his memory going forever via me his daughter. Here is just a small part of how and why Huggable Urns was created.

Soon after my Dad passed away he started to communicate to me how upset he was that after living his life to the fullest he ended up in some ugly hard container. This was just not acceptable to him. Was I surprised!!!

My Mom has always been the best party giver ever, so, of course when my Dad found out that he only had a couple of months to live he planned his own "Kick-the-Bucket" party. He wanted all of us to gather together, reminisce, laugh, feel the love and talk about him. Here is a man that was dying and he is trying to ease our pain, what a special guy!

Boy! I have never talked to my Dad so much in my whole life as I have since he passed. Not only has he guided me every step of the way in the creation of Huggable Urns but he also has guided me in my personal life.

He wanted something soft and cuddly that people could hold and to have around them at all times. My family found this to be very comforting to our aching hearts. Plus my Dad wanted you to be able to accessorize your Huggable to fit the personality of your loved one. Out-of-site, out-of-mind is not my Dads way.

It gives me such comfort to be able to pick up my Teddy Bear and give my Dad a hug anytime I want to especially during my personal hard times. By having my Dad in my Huggable Teddy Bear I can bring him with me to all of our family gatherings.

Who taught me to be strong and to always look at the positive and to fear nothing. Who taught me that you can accomplish anything you want no matter how hard it seemed as long as you had the desire. Who taught me that if something I wanted didn't work out don't be sad or discouraged because something better is just around the corner waiting for me.
